How to listen to audio from ISO image

I got hold of an ISO image that supposedly contained many audio tracks. But initially I had no idea how to get it all out. I tried playing the ISO file directly with VLC media player but that didn't work. I learned that there were other media players but I think you had to buy it (correct me if I'm wrong) and though there might have been trial versions I wanted to be able to listen to it all the time - not just when the media player software was in the trial period.

Then I came across some software that could extract audio and/or video files from an ISO image and I tried a few of those until I came across one that worked: MagicISO. Here are the instructions on using this software: http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-isoextractorwin.htm. Even though this software was offered for a small trial period we can extract any number of files before the term expires. I extracted from a 4.2GB ISO image.

4GB file size copy

was trying to copy a movie (4.7GB) size from my hard drive to a portable hard drive when i discovered that after copying about 3.99GB it stopped.. it looks like there's a file size limitation with FAT32 file system. NTFS is better.. but unfortunately since I had a lot of files on my portable hard drive which i couldn't back up anywhere else, i used this:
http://download.cnet.com/File-Splitter/3000-2248_4-10405033.html
split it in to smaller 700MB files and copied them over..
and then 'spliced' them on the hard drive itself..

i was looking at other ways to split that VOB file into multiple VOB files. but its definitely not ez.. i have to decode it, split it and then re-encode it.. and there might be some video quality loss too.. just didn't wanna risk it..
